It is a two year course having four semesters. It will train the students in every aspect of theatre and prepare them to become professionals both in theatre and cinema. The theatre training is ancgored to the Structural Method. It will incorporate in the students a systematic way of performance and conduct all theatre activities. Each are of theatre will be handled by respective specialists with common orientation.
Theatre has always been a strong point of the school. Employing the structural method several facets of theatre have been explored.

• Techniques of effective performances on different types of stage such as arena, intimate and proscenium.
• Explorations of novel thematic and representational ideas
• Experiments along Trans-naturalism as a theatre technique
• Organizing stage craft exhibition through stage models embellished with lights, sets, décor and scaled miniature characters.
• Conducting Theatre Workshops, Educational Theatre and experimenting on different modes of one person drama modern drama technique.
• Theatre Music and the incorporation of classical, folk and modern dance techniques in drama
• Comparative study of several Schools of Theatre such as, those of Aristotle, Plato, Brecht, Stanislavsky and Bharadwaj.
